ECOLOGICAL BENEFITS –

Craft Bioglitter® replaces the polyester film used in traditional cosmetic glitter with a very special form of cellulose extracted from hardwoods, primarily eucalyptus sourced from responsibly managed and certified plantations operating to PEFC™ www.pefc.org standards. Completely unique, Bioglitter®, is the only glitter available on the market which is now PROVEN to biodegrade into harmless substances in the natural environment. There are two key ecological goals we are driving to achieve with all Bioglitter® products;

1.  Plastic free, so it’s no longer a microplastic.
2.  Biodegradable in the natural environment, so it leaves minimal or no trace.

So far with we have already removed 92% of the plastic and 90% of Bioglitter®’s content is biodegradable in natural environments.

Craft Bioglitter® is specifically designed to go further:  Up to 4 times further than normal plastic or PVC educational glitters.

Craft Bioglitter® could be considered a CONCENTRATED form of plastic or PVC educational glitter.  As a concentrated product it take up less space, requires less packaging and less transportation.  Therefore, adding further to its ecological benefits.

Funds are always under pressure in the education industry and with Craft Bioglitter® going up to 4X further than normal PVC educational glitters the cost difference in application is less than it may first appear.

Craft Bioglitter® contains extremely low levels of heavy metals, going further than the requirements of product safety standards like EN71 European Toy Regulations.
